Health and Wellbeing Community Area Joint Strategic Assessments

Health banner

The latest Community Area Joint Strategic Assessments for 2013 – 2015 are being published in spring 2014.  These reflect how each community area has changed since the previous publication three years ago and set out the key issues for the next three years.

The data, information, knowledge and evidence about each area will assist the local community to decide what are priorities for action and where decisions about local matters need to be made.  The first Community Area Joint Strategic Assessments were published in 2011 and marked an important milestone in the development of a JSA programme for Wiltshire.  Since 2011 we have produced an updated county wide assessment in 2012, which has informed service provision in areas such as health and wellbeing, housing, children and young people and work to boost the local economy and protect the environment.

Work on community area JSAs has only been possible as a result of well established partnerships with those who live in and know the local area well, and with other partners including the newly established Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), Wiltshire Police and the Police and Crime Commissioner, local voluntary and community organisations and a wide-range of other stakeholders.

The Health and Wellbeing sections of the 2013-2015 Community Area Joint Strategic Assessments (CAJSAs) are available below:

The dedicated Community Area JSA website hosts the full documents for each Community Area. The 2012/13 Health and Wellbeing JSA for Wiltshire is available online and the 2013/14 version is due to be published soon.
