Thematic Maps

The public sector assets map has been discontinued by DCLG and all links to it will not work after 31 December 2012. You can still access the data behind from the National Archive.

The maps below were produced by Natural England in 2010. For each Community Area, they show Access Land, Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), County Wildlife Sites (CWSs), Public Rights of Way, Scheduled Ancient Monuments and Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSIs).

New maps are available in the Community Area Joint Strategic Assessments (JSAs) in 2013-14 showing AONBs, CWSs and SSSIs, as well as waterways, the World Heritage Site, strategic sites for new development and country parks. These are available on the Wiltshire JSA website www.wiltshirejsa.org.uk and in the Biodiversity data by Community Area on this site.
